ABSTRAK
Motivasi kerja merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam diri seorang pegawai. Motivasi kerja seseorang dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor, yaitu dari dalam diri sendiri ataupun dari lingkungan disekitarnya. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja diberikan kompensasi kepada pegawai yaitu, kompensasi finansial dan kompensasi non finansial. Kompensasi non finansial dapat berupa motivasi pegawai dalam bentuk tindakan maupun ucapan. Selain itu, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif akan mendukung pengembang karir pegawai. Hal?hal tersebut merupakan poin penting untuk memotivasi pegawai. Meskipun tidak ada satuan yang dapat mengukurnya dan terkadang mungkin bersifat subjektif. Akan tetapi, hal-hal tersebut dapat memberikan kesan yang mendalam dan bertahan lama untuk memotivasi pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas hubungan kompensasi non finansial dengan motivasi kerja PNS Direktorat Konservasi Kawasan dan Jenis Ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dijadikan sampel dengan jumlah 48 orang pegawai Direktorat Konservasi Kawasan dan Jenis Ikan dengan skala Likert. Dari hasil analisis tersebut terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara kompensasi non finansial dengan motivasi kerja PNS Direktorat Konservasi Kawasan dan Jenis Ikan.


Abstract
Work motivation is one important element in for an employee. Work motivation is influenced by two factors, which from ourselves or the environment. To enhance work motivation, the employee is given compensation, financial compensation and non-financial compensation. Compensation can be either nonfinancial employee motivation in the form of action or utterance. In addition, a good working environment will support career development of employees. These are important points to motivate employees. However, there is unit that can be used to measure it, and sometimes can be subjective. These things might give a deep impression and enduring to motivate employees. This study aims to discuss the non-financial compensation relations with the working motivation of civil servants in Directorate Marine and Aquatic Resources Conservation. This research was conducted with quantitative approach. Population sampled by the number of 48 people officials at the Directorate Marine and Aquatic Resources Conservation with Likert scale. From the results of this analysis can be informed that there is a strong relationship between non-financial compensation with the motivation of civil servants working Directorate Marine and Aquatic Resources Conservation., Work motivation is one important element in for an employee.
